Financial Hall of Fame ® Criteria

The organization will recognize advisors with a Financial Hall of Fame ® qualification when they have met a level of competency according to the following standards for which points are awarded as indicated below:

For Financial Hall of Fame ® an aggregate of 500 points or more must be accumulated:

  • A minimum of 35 years in the financial services profession (1 point per year).
  • A minimum of 35-year membership in a professional association of insurance brokers or financial advisors (1 point per year).
  • A minimum of $100,000 First-year production credit or $200,000 premium income each year or total income of $400,000 for at least 25 years (1 point per year).
  • A minimum of $300,000 First-year production credit, or $600,000 premium income or total income of $1,200,000 for at least 20 consecutive years (3 points per year).
  • A minimum of $600,000 First-year production credit or $1,200,000 premium income or total income of $2,400,000 for at least 20 consecutive years (6 points per year).
  • A concurrent qualification of the categories in paragraphs (1) to (5) will entitle an applicant to 20 credits for each category in addition to points earned.
  • Serving as a Chair of a committee of a National or International professional association of insurance brokers or financial advisors (10 points).
  • Serving as President of a National or International professional association of insurance brokers or financial advisors (10 points).
  • Extraordinary National level contribution to the financial services profession by being elected, appointed, or chosen to be a leader of a national professional association e.g. Advocis (CAN), NAIFA (US) of insurance brokers or financial advisors (10 points).
  • Extraordinary International level contribution to the financial services profession by being elected, appointed, or chosen to be a leader of an international professional association MDRT or similar associations of insurance brokers or financial advisors (10 points).
  • Speaker at International Conferences in the financial services field in a minimum of 35 countries (10 points).
  • Extraordinary service to serving one's clients to protect individuals, families, and businesses by dedicating 35 years or more of their working life to serving their community related to the financial services, insurance, banking and mortgage or real estate sectors (10 points).
  • Complaints and ethics violations free career (10 points).
  • National level contributions in any field bringing a positive image to the financial services profession by achieving a publicly recognized national award of excellence, or by being a leader of a national sports team or national sporting association, national charitable organization, or national human rights organization (10 points).
  • International level contributions in any field bringing a positive image to the financial services profession by achieving an international publicly recognized award of excellence, or by being a leader of an international sports team or international sporting association, international charitable organization, or international human rights organization. (10 points).

Bonus option: 20 points for extraordinary giving and philanthropy during one’s lifetime minimum 250,000 US. Over 1 million add 10 points and over 2 million add another 10 points. Maximum points awarded 40 in total.

Please note that those meeting the same criteria can be awarded the Lifetime Achievement award for garnering at least 400 points.
