Serge Morel began his career with New York Life Insurance Company on February 28, 1966, initially in search of an inside sales role. Within his second month, while diligently studying a book to better understand the business, he uncovered the true meaning and potential of the product he was offering. This discovery sparked a lifelong mission: to connect with as many people as possible and share the life-changing benefits of what he came to recognize as a “miracle product.”

Driven by purpose and discipline, Serge made a personal pledge to submit one application per day—thirty per month—and remarkably upheld this commitment for 44 consecutive years. His passion for the profession was fueled by a deep belief in its noble responsibility: to protect, maintain, and elevate the lifestyle of every individual and family he encountered.

Serge Morel is deeply honored to receive this recognition and remains profoundly grateful to have spent his career serving in a profession dedicated to making a meaningful and lasting impact on people’s lives.

Anthony (Tony) Longley

Anthony (Tony) Longley, IFA, affectionately called “tiger”, is an insurance industry veteran of 41 years. He is an Executive Financial Services Representative at Colina Insurance Ltd in Nassau, Bahamas. He specializes in individual life and medical insurance, employee group insurance and pension benefits. He is a 35 year Qualifying & Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), and a Gold Knight contributor of the MDRT Foundation. Longley will be a speaker at the MDRT annual meeting in Miami Beach, Florida.

He is passionate about mentoring emerging advisors. He is a Distinguished Toastmaster, an avid photographer, as well as an international marathon runner.

Longley, and Jackie, his wife of more than 40 years, are parents of two daughters, a Son-in-Law and one Canine.

His mantra is: “Don't hoard your success; the more of it you share, the more you'll get!”

Greg Abbott

Greg Abbott, CLU, CHFC, CFP, is a seasoned financial expert with over 40 years of experience. His career began alongside key tax law changes, allowing him to help doctors and dentists structure their finances for long-term success. The client relationships he built early on, through collaborations with Ladner Downs and local accounting firms, remain strong today. As founder of The Halsey Group, Greg has established a discreet and trusted presence in the private business sector, relying on referrals and word-of-mouth reputation.

Beyond financial planning, Greg has successfully founded and grown multiple businesses, including medical clinics and property development firms. His deep industry knowledge is complemented by real-world business experience. A regular MDRT Court of the Table member and CALU founding member, he is a respected speaker and leader in his field.

Married for 33 years, Greg values faith, family, and the enduring relationships he has built throughout his career.

Since 1970, Richard has been an active member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), a global association of leading financial professionals. His dedication has earned him the prestigious Top of the Table (TOT) status for 15 years, reflecting his expertise, ethical standards, and commitment to client service.

Beyond finance, Richard is a strong advocate for community service. As a longtime supporter of Peer Mediation and Skills Training (PMAST), he has helped implement programs addressing bullying and conflict resolution in schools. His contributions through the MDRT Foundation further demonstrate his commitment to fostering stronger communities.

Having immigrated from China to Alberta, Canada as a child, Richard understands the value of financial security and community support. His leadership, integrity, and dedication continue to make a lasting impact in the financial services industry and beyond.
